Medication Logs
A medication log must be submitted every time a foster parent gives a child any medication, whether it is a prescription medication or over-the-counter medication. In addition, a monthly medication log must be submitted to the case manager electronically.
You must add a new medication before you can create a medication log for the medication.
Creating a Medication Log
1. Select the medication from the "Active Medications" list and click "Next".
2. Indicate when the medication was administered. If you select "Earlier," you will be asked for the time and date the medication was given.
OPTIONAL: If your organization has included this step, you may be asked to specify who administered the medication.
OPTIONAL: If your organization has included this step, you may be asked to indicate how much medication is remaining, and whether the medication has been stored properly.
2. Check the initials box at the bottom of the review page, then tap Submit.
NOTE: The log will go to your case manager as soon as it has been submitted.
3. You can view completed logs in the Activity tab.
